Chairman

Dr. Mohamad holds a Master Degree (MPH) in Health Care Management from Johns Hopkins.

University Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He held various senior positions in the Health Care industry, he was the A/Chairman Obs-Gyn Hariri Medical Center (360 beds Hospital), Kfarfalous, Lebanon, a member of the commissioning team, commissioned and managed the same. He was also the Director of Operations – Saudi Medical Services (Operating 12 hospitals with a total bed capacity of 4000 beds in KSA and Yemen).
Dr. Mohamad was also the Senior Vice President – Washington HealthCare International Corporation –DC-USA Washington. He also established the first HMO (managed care Health care program in the Middle East). He had the position of the Chairman of the Board – Rafik Hariri Beirut General University Hospital, the director of international operations – Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. In addition, Dr. Mohamad established a medical university in Bahrain (RCSI-Bahrain), he also established a medical university in Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia, jointly with Royal College of Surgeon in Ireland, and John Hopkins Medicine (Baltimore,Md, USA).
He established a Master’s Degree program in Healthcare Management in Dubai, UAE (RCSI) and another Master degree in Healthcare Management with Yarmouk University in Amman-Jordan (RCSI)

Mr Muzzafer Aktas

Mr Muzzafer Aktas

Mr. Muzaffer obtained his Bachelor Degree of Law from Istanbul University in 1962. In February 1980 he joined the 5th largest reinsurance broker, Stewart Wrightson in London as Executive Director which is now Willis, he became a Managing Director and later Chairman of Turkey extended to Middle East and North Africa until the end of 2016. He is a member in the Istanbul Bar Association and Insurance Brokers’ Registration Council. Furthermore, he is a Board member in Kuwait Re, Kuwait Finance House, Turk Capital Advisor, Advisor to NEOVA Sigorta and Consultant to Assist America.

Mohamed Bachar El-Zein

Ismaeel Abdulnabi Al-Marhoon

Mr. Ismaeel holds a Master in Business Administration (Financial Management) from the University of Dundee-UK. He Joined the Ministry of Finance and National Economy since 1979 until 2016 where he became the Assistant undersecretary for resources and information. Mr Ismaeel held various managerial positions, including being the Superintendent of Cash & Banking, Head of Liquidity & Public Debts department, Director of Accounting, Director of Financial Systems Development and finally the Assistant undersecretary for resources and information.

Mr. Ismaeel was also the Chairman of the Bahrain Car Park Company, the Chairman of the Gulf Medical Diabetes Centre, Member of Board of Directors of the Pension Fund Commission, in addition, he was also appointed by H.M. the King as a member of Management improvement & monitoring Committee. He also was the Head of Government Procurement for negotiations of Free trade agreement with USA. Mr. Ismaeel is a member of the Bahrain Auditors and Accountants Association.

Faisal Radhi Al Mousawi

Faisal Radhi Al-Mousawi

Dr. Faisal is M.B.Ch.B qualified from the University of Cairo, he is also F.R.C.S qualified from Ireland and Edinburgh. Dr. Faisal is currently the Associate Professor – Arabian Gulf University, the Honorary Consultant – Salmaniya Medical Centre – Orthopaedic Surgery and the Chairman of the Board – Alkindi Hospital.

Dr. Faisal held various memberships in professional bodies including but not limited to being the past President, of the Bahrain Medical Society, Gulf Orthopaedic Association, Pan Arab Orthopaedic Association. In addition to being a member of Board of Trustees AO international. Chairman of the high Council of Arab Board for Medical Specialties, a fellow British Orthopedic Association, a member of the ESSKA, a member of the Board of Trustees in Al Ahlia University, and a member of the Bahrain Red Crescent.

Dr. Faisal held the position of Assistant undersecretary for Training and Medical services, Ministry of Health, in addition he was the Minister of Health and had the position of the Chairman of the Shurra Council. None of the Board members has direct shareholding in the company except for Mr. Lutfi Fadel El Zein and Mr. Mohamed El Zein who hold shares indirectly as they own 65% and 10% respectively  of LFZ Holding which owns SLH Holding that owns 58.418% of The Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance & Reinsurance Company BSC (c).

Ismaeel Abdulnabi al Marhoon-

Mohamed Bachar El-Zein

Mr. El Zein holds an MBA in International Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA in 1980. He began his career serving in various senior positions in Evenflo Products Company, Ohio, USA (1982-2001), and then he established his own company MBZ Financial Consulting, USA (2001-2006). Mr. El Zein joined the Medgulf Group on 2006, and he is currently the Group CEO. Mr. El Zein is the Chairman of Medgulf Takaful BSC (c) and a Board member in Medgulf Lebanon and LFZ Holding Lebanon.

Jean Patrick Loisy

Mr. Loisy obtained his Bachelor Degree in Economics from Ecole Nationale d’Assurance. He joined Union des Assurance de Paris from 1970 till 1989, and then he joined SCOR from 1989 till 2010 as

Vice President. Currently he is the Senior Advisor of SCOR CEO. He is a Non-Executive Director in the Board of Arope Insurance Company in Lebanon, Ace Arabia in Saudi, Ascoma in Monaco andTricast in Paris.
